The Love Music Initiative is a multi-disciplinary art based an education program that runs programming across the GTA in schools, community and for corporate groups.
Our Start
Our programming started initially as a one-off celebration around Black History Month but has since morphed into a variety of exciting and engaging programs that have seen us grow form TDSB into doing programming in every school board.
The DJ Academy
With the school’s successes it has allowed us to branch off starting The Love Music DJ Academy where we also do private one on one lessons for eager new or seasoned DJ students teaching them the basics of how-to DJ and the art form and culture of DJing.
Love Music also offers staff trainings to administrators and teachers and corporate groups for team building, Day of Diversity trainings and can also support your office in delivering a rich and content filled message by using our dynamic arts-based approach

Love Music Initiative (LMI) is a not for profit that has a goal of raising $10K goal for staffing support, providing laptops, drums, and other equipment to youth who want to learn music through the arts.
